I am a graduate of Stanford University (undergrad) and Yale University (Ph.D. program alumnus) who has helped students win more than $2-2.5 million dollars in scholarships over the past 20 years.
See the "About Me" page for more details on my background and resume!
My approach:
I move beyond stereotypes and the generic (bad) advice given by guidance counselors, other peers/friends.
My approach is individualized to your goals, needs and what you want from college.
I have a radical candor approach in which I tell you how admissions works, even if / when doing so violates social expectations.
I can help you manage the entire process: from creating your school list to making final decisions of which college you will accept!
I am especially experienced with students of color, helping students from China/Korea, empowering Asian-Americans to beat back limiting stereotypes in admissions and supporting nontraditional students.
I believe that the HACK for college admissions is to tell an authentic story about who you are--
NOT what your friends, other famililes, your schools, your parents etc. think "colleges what to hear."
I have 20+ years of experience helping applicants get into schools such as Stanford, MIT, Harvard (and others). I've also helped BS/MD, Law, Medicine and MBA applicants.
I leverage my experience coaching multiple national champions in debate (most recently in Lincoln-Douglas at NCFL 2021) and personal experience helping applicants to Top 10 US schools and major fellowships/programs (i.e. Rhodes).
